CREATIVE OFF CAMERA FLASH – ONE DAY WORKSHOP
THIS COURSE WAS RUN AS A SPECIAL FOR THE BALLARAT INTERNATIONAL FOTO BIENNALE 2017. STAY TUNED FOR THE NEXT DATES FOR BIFB 2019
When you have a strong understanding of flash, no image is out of reach. Explore light, colour & creativity through this practical 1 day off camera flash workshop with professional photographer Michelle Dunn. With a focus on using Speedlights on location, you’ll discover how to create multiple flash set ups & how to balance natural light & flash. Being able to create your own light when there is none, makes the possibilities of photography limitless. An understanding of photographing on manual mode is essential for participants of this workshop.
Be prepared to have the way you photograph changed forever!
We’ll be doing a bunch of flash experiments, learning to use multiple lighting set ups as part of the off camera flash workshop. Above shows examples of using natural light only (left), natural light plus two off camera flashes (centre) & natural light plus two off camera flashes & using coloured gels & white balance settings to change the colour temperature.
