I was so excited the other day when I followed up on a shoot I did for Vision Australia in Ballarat a few months back for their Autumn fundraising campaign. I’m always interested to see how my images get used, but the email I got back was far more than I expected:
“The appeal just closed and we were able to raise almost $530,000 in donations which was more than last year.
So thank you so much!!”
Heidi’s story is truly inspirational & puts all those small daily woes we have into perspective. On the letter that went out with the below campaign, Heidi shared her story. This is part of it:
“I was on top of the world, running my own business and planning my wedding. Then I discovered that I was going to lose my sight and I thought all my dreams for the future were over.” She is 23 & lost her sight suddenly to intercranial hypertension.
