I’ve been working with a few local artists around Ballarat & Daylesford lately, photographing their works for websites & promo flyers. It’s really exciting to see artists putting more of a business hat on (however uncomfortable it may feel) & taking the time to have their work professionally photographed.
It’s important, not just so you have high quality shots to put on your website & promo material, but also to ensure you keep a record of what you make. Having great images to include in grant applications or commission pitches can be the difference between grabbing someone’s attention or not.
