Sarah Houbolt is a dynamic powerhouse of a human. She also happens to have been born with the rare Hallermann-Streiff syndrome. She’s an international circus performer, despite being legally blind, she pushes boundaries, inspires thought & confronts people’s judgements. We filmed her in Sydney to create this promo for the SNAP Ballarat Arts & Disability festival in November 2016.
This film has been the highlight of 2016 for us. It’s been such a privilege to have been trusted to create this project & help to facilitate three amazing Indigenous people to share their perspectives. Australia will never be truly great until we learn to walk together & I hope anyone who sees this film will agree with the sentiments & share it with their friends & family to help spread the word.

The 24 Hour Experience was an arts festival where a new show played every hour on the hour for 24 hours around Ballarat. The brief was to highlight the diversity of shows & excitement and to encourage those that don’t normally go to arts events in Ballarat to get involved.
A web promo created for The Courier’s advertising team to present during a series of marketing workshops for local Ballarat businesses. Aimed at showing the newspaper is current & local, attracting clients local businesses are looking for.
TV ad & promotional web videos for the first Absolute Weddings Expo in Ballarat. The brief was to showcase this expo as a new & fresh approach to wedding fairs in the Ballarat area & to lift the standards within the industry.
The brief was to create a series of ten 20 second web promos to attract new candidates for the 2015 LBWR leadership program. As the program opens doors for participants to play a more active role in the community, we used this idea, with a still image of each person & their audio recording on what the program did for them.
Berry Street were trialing an art program to engage disengaged youth in Ballarat & to celebrate their success an exhibition of the young people’s work along with their mentors was held. This promotional web video was commissioned to both document the journey & to facilitate further funding for the project, which was successful.
Adore beauty salon in Sutherland, Sydney, had just completed renovations on a stunning new premises & wanted to get the word out, so I worked with them to create a short web promo to show off the salon.
Showreels are an important promo tool for actors. This promo was created for Julia Davis, who, after a successful career in Sydney, had recently moved to Melbourne to relaunch her career after having a baby.

Leadership Ballarat & Western Region created Rug Up Festival as a fundraiser for those doing it rough over winter. The aim was also to shift the “Old, Cold & Gold” mentality towards Ballarat & showcase the vibrancy of the town, even in the colder months.
