We’ve just completed another DSLR photography short course here in Ballarat with a bunch of enthusiastic photography lovers from across the Western Region! I love this point, because I’ve been able to watch everyone go from shooting on auto mode, to producing photos like the ones below, all shot on full manual mode. It’s reminds me of my own excitement learning photography over 15 years ago now!
So much pride for what these guys have produced, their commitment & their enthusiasm each week. I also love how each person has their own way of seeing the world and their own unique interests to turn their cameras towards.
With thanks to feedback from students, each course gets better and better…. and I’m really loving the latest addition to the course, moving from printed sheets of paper, to a great book that students get to keep.
There’s lots more news to come regarding courses, but you’ll have to stay tuned to find out more towards the middle of the year.
For now, if you’re ready to get off Auto mode & start making the most of your camera, the next short course dates have just been announced to my mailing list (are you on it?!). I’ll be putting them up on the website in the next fortnight, so get in quick ’cause this course books out!
